  • architecture

Dr. Ezgi Tuncer’s section will imagine and design a community shelter in Beirut, where the pandemic erupted amidst massive economic and political turmoil. The community of the new housing and working environment could be for domestic migrant workers who have been abandoned by their employers and have become homeless; women who have faced domestic violence during the pandemic; local people and artists who have been badly affected by the devastating explosion at the port of Beirut and also refugees of various ethnic origin.
