In this project, Ticaret Han in Karaköy was reconfigured as a restaurant. I designed an organism that accentuates the existing building’s architectural elements. While the organism transforms into various functions, such as tables and benches inside the building, it also overflows outside and works as urban furniture on the dead-end street nearby.
