KHAS Lighting Workshop' 24: “Exploring the Light”

The event, which is organized every year with the students of the Faculty of Art and Design in order to explain the importance of Lighting Design and raise awareness on this subject, was held this year with the Secretary General of the Turkish National Committee on Lighting and Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design Prof. Dr. Banu Manav, who is also one of the mentor academicians, Mustafa Akkaya, founder of Line Lighting Design, Kürşad Ayanlar from Waxy Design Studio and Lecturer Turgut Çırpanlı from the Department of Industrial Design. A workshop on lighting design was held at Kadir Has University Faculty of Art and Design, starting in December, with 3 different meetings and studies with Interior Architecture and Industrial Design students.  Within the framework of 3 different meetings, in line with the theoretical and technical information provided to the participants by Line Lighting design company and Waxy Design studio, the groups produced prototypes of their concept designs by touching different materials and production techniques and made presentations. The products at the end of the workshop are exhibited in KHAS Block D.
