The urban social and cultural topography, where debates on identity and space policies are intensified, can be analyzed and produced through the metaphor of the “ideal home”. In the staging of architecture and the built environment, the house plays a leading role with its changing images. In this sense, the ideal home can be interpreted as imaginary fiction; today's ‘ideal home’ is mostly transformed into a commodity that can be bought and sold directly and overlaps with the culture of consumption.
