- architecture
In continuity with Architectural Design I, students will engage with process and production at each level of the studio, by employing analog, cognitive, and digital tools. These tools will be utilized in accordance with a consistent approach derived from folding (morphogenetic process) procedures. The approaches are to be utilized to create architectural design aspects. As part of their research objective, each student will create their own folding-based design approach or operating guidelines. Folding as a method is anticipated to be investigated using material, cognitive, and digital techniques.
