Exploring Tension and Compression: A Conceptual Bridge Design
- architecture
This project explores suspended bridge systems over a contoured landscape model. We tried to find ways to go from one hill to another. Using layered cardboard topography and a cable-supported walkway, it investigates balance, lightness, and interaction with terrain. The structural system combines wooden joints, steel rods, and tension cables, simulating architectural and engineering collaboration.
