Daily Life Routes
- architecture
The design matter of the studio was to design residential structures in urban context. Design began with personal and subjective form/ system/ structure experiments through maquettes. These forms were transformed into urban patterns that were carefully adopted to the existing morphology, aiming to provide urban qualities such as scale, enclosure and complexity. Functions which were distributed according to the outcomes of the daily life routes analyses were implemented to the form. Finally, the buildings were formed through detailed studies of structure, circulation and volumes of interior spaces.
