Co-Housing Project in Bahçelievler

  • interiorarchitecture

The current COVID crisis has challenged the spaces that we live in, which were once considered adequate for our everyday needs in a pre-pandemic era, and highlighted the importance of housing with a significant shift to working from home, social distancing, and general wellbeing. This studio investigated how to tackle the increasingly solitary lifestyles through co-housing. Students were expected to create a sense of community and design healthy and sustainable dwellings by revisiting their current apartment buildings.
